  4. Does Light Therapy Help Psoriatic Arthritis

UV light treatment is a safe and effective treatment for psoriasis, and it may also help psoriatic arthritis says Jami Miller, MD, assistant professor of medicine and dermatology, and supervisor of the phototherapy clinic, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. There are various types of UVB light treatment available for Psoriasis and Vitilgo. The safest has been in trials the UVB narrowband Therapie. In some cased it had to be upgraded to PUVA but this is rare. There is still some resistance to the treatment as they think it is not safe. But if you are aware of the guidelines it can be a great help even with children to get the skin condition under control. People will take differently to the treatment
